Holy Crap! It is 6:30 AM

An amazing thing just happened this morning, our alarm actually went off and woke us up from a full night's sleep. Of course I'm completely jinxing us from now until forever, but I just had to update our blog with this piece of amazing information. It's been 8 months since we've been able to sleep until the alarm goes off. There is always some monkey in the adjacent room complaining and whining about something in the VERY early morning hours. But today, they didn't make a peep until after 6:30 AM...after our alarm woke us up!

We think it is because the girls are sitting up now really well and can go from lying down to sitting up on their own. Here is a good little pic of them,

Anyway, this weekend will be full of Jami's family time. Jen is coming in today to spend the weekend here for their grandma's 85th birthday. A bunch of aunts, cousins, etc. are coming out to Chicago to spend the weekend taking Grandma Elma all around the city sites. We just hope that they can make it out here with all the flooding that is going on in Iowa. Jami's family is around some of the areas that have been hit between Waterloo/Cedar Falls all the way to Cedar Rapids. We hope that everyone is safe. If you haven't seen some of the damage, it is crazy.

omg, your girls are too cute. i hope we don't hear about you in the news. we live in crazyville where we drive the four miles to downtown so we can avoid morons who stop in the crosswalk (ann arbor drivers are SO bad.. but you knew that already).

i have to add - that it's a very scary feeling at first when you realize they slept through the night! But then, about two seconds later when you realize they're still alive, it's THE BEST feeling ever and you pray to God that every night will be like that.
