Playing in the Leaves

First of all, it is very sad that I can't blog a bit more. Our family's new phrase is "survival"...and sometimes survival doesn't allow for tons of blogging time. Anyway, enough of the excuses.

So we spent our Thanksgiving in Iowa. It was very nice because the girls slept in each morning until at least 8 AM. Maybe it was the fresh air? Lack of an "El" train flying by every six minutes? We really don't know, but it was very nice because we were up late every night catching up with friends, playing games, going to the bar, and whatever else normal people without kids do.

It is sad that our girls don't have a lawn to play in every day. We are scared to take the girls to Grant Park because of all the dog urine and crap. So all you that have a clean lawn, count your blessings. Grandpa Mort and I took the girls out back and played in the leaves. They loved it! A few pics:
